This year’s Cocktails & Collecting event will take place on Saturday, November 1, 2008,  6–9 PM. As in previous years, Cocktails & Collecting will provide a comfortable and fun atmosphere in which to learn about art collecting and purchase artwork directly from dealers and artists handpicked by the museum. Museum curators will be available to answer questions and guide you in your purchases. The evening will feature an expansive menu of delectable hors d’oeuvres and a full-service complimentary bar. Mrs. Wood confirms that “Cocktails & Collecting puts the fun back into fundraising!” Cocktails & Collecting committee members include Lauri Catena, Pamela Deller, Charles Froom, Jane George, Janet Gross, Susan Gumz, Lisa Helmer, Ann Lalik, Jamie Musselman, Ellen Neubauer, Maryann Niethold, Dr. Christine I.
