Non-Western Art

Gifts from the Jaipaul family began the Allentown Art Museum’s sculpture collection from India and Tibet. In 2009, Drs. Peter and Caroline Koblenzer expanded on the collection with another large gift of sculpture. The Museum’s permanent collection now consists of 95 Indian and Tibetan sculptures, on view at various times during the year. South Asian Temple Art  opens in June 2013 in the Fowler Gallery.
