50 Minutes: PA’S GIRLHOOD EMBROIDERIES
noon

Join us on the first Wednesday of the month at noon, when artists, curators,
and guest speakers present brief (about twenty fascinating minutes) gallery
talks related to our exhibitions. These casual talks are followed by a stop
at the Museum Café for a speedy sampling of Karen Hunter’s lunch menu.
Members $15, nonmembers $20. Please call 610-432-4333 ext 110 to reserve.

Today, textile specialist Deborah Kraak presents a fascinating overview of the historic needlework accomplishments of Pennsylvania’s first daughters as she leads a tour through the exhibition The Plain and Ornamental Branches: A Sampling of Pennsylvania’s Girlhood Embroidery on display in Payne Hurd Gallery.
