Opening day of Above the Fold

Admission to the Museum is free every Sunday of the year thanks to generous support from the Society of the Arts (SOTA), the Gadomski Foundation, and the Sylvia Perkin Charitable Trust.

Today is opening day of our spring line-up of exhibitions, including Above the Fold: New Expressions in Origami. Stop in to try your hand at the art of folding or bring the kids for free family artmaking activities, a gallery tour, more!

Folding Together: A presentation and workshop by Miri Golan

Miri Golan, one of the origami artists whose work is shown in Above the Fold, founded Folding Together, a worldwide origami program based in Israel. Join Miri for a lecture/workshop about the project, which uses origami to bring together children and their families of different faiths. Free

Folding session for all ages and abilities

Mark Kennedy and Arline Gorchov of the Lehigh Valley Origami Enthusiasts will show you how to fold in these informal sessions in our Rodale Classroom, with projects for all experience levels. Just drop in! Free

2 p.m.
Tour of Above the Fold

Gather at our front desk to join the first guided tour of our new origami exhibition. Free

ArtVentures in Art Ways Interactive Family Gallery
Kids and families can create original works of art together under the direction of a Museum educator in our Crayola Classroom, upstairs in Art Ways, free. This month's hands-on projects explore the natural balance between light and shadow.
