Stories of Home—free theater workshop @ The Creativity Lab

May 24 (Wednesday)
Stories of Home: A theater workshop @ The Creativity Lab
3–5:30 p.m.

What does home mean to you?” Explore, create, and imagine with theatremaker Suzana Berger! Participants in this free workshop will craft short stories that creatively and poetically express what "home" means to them, and what it could be. You are invited to perform your story at the end of Suzana's residency, on June 14.

This workshop is free and open to adults. Meet up with Suzana in the Museum lobby (check in at the front desk) for a tour through the galleries before heading as a group over to the Creativity Lab (515 Hamilton Street) for the rest of the workshop. Sign up by contacting Ananda at aholton [at] allentownartmuseum [dot] org or 610-432-4333 ext 136.

Suzana Berger is a theatre artist, educator, and community-partnership builder with a focus on vivid physical performance, creating new work that explores social issues imaginatively for audiences of all ages, and using stories to connect those who previously thought they had nothing in common. She earned her BA in English from the University of Pennsylvania, where she now teaches August Wilson & Beyond (a partnership with the West Philadelphia Cultural Alliance), and Teaching Performing Arts for Cross-Cultural Education.
