Artist as Artrepreneur with Thomas Mann

To succeed as an artist you must become an Artrepreneur. You must master your craft, find and develop your personal creative well, know how to price your work, how to communicate with the public and the commercial worlds that will inevitably sustain your survival to be an artist. Topics at this lecture/lunch will include artist Tom Mann’s personal artistic and artreprenurial development and a little bit about the history of the Arts and Craft movement of the twentieth century, and a bit about the dramatically changing economic environment for the arts and artists. This talk is directed to art students, their parents and teachers, amateurs trending toward professionalism, the practicing professional artist, and the art consuming public.

This event is a part of Tom’s artist-in-residence in Allentown and his Trajectory Heart Project that is located around downtown Allentown during the month of July. Sponsored by Penn State Lehigh Valley Arts.
