Tonight’s film isThe Art of the Steal (2009), a documentary that follows Dr. Albert C. Barnes as he educates himself about art and builds an immense art collection complete with approximately $30 billion worth of art by some of the world's most eminent painters. The legal articles of incorporation for the Barnes Foundation made it very clear that this was a private, educational institution. Art students were encouraged to sign-up for classes or a visit. The next part of the documentary is about what happens to the Barnes Collection after the doctor’s death in 1951
