Opening day of FLORAL

August 9 (Wednesday)
Opening day of FLORAL
11 a.m.–4 p.m.

This exhibition, Floral, in the Museum’s Decorative Arts Corridor includes prints of petunias and poppies, with examples both subtle and bright. These color woodcuts of the early twentieth century celebrate blooms and complement the display of our recent acquisition Seven-Light Lily Lamp by Tiffany Studios.

Edna Bois Hopkins (American, 1872–1937), Petunia, ca.1907/08, woodcut. Collection of John Rossetti
