Every Thursday the Museum’s galleries are open till 8 p.m., with free entry after 4 p.m. Tonight, in addition to the opening of Hues of Red and Blue: The 2016 Presidential Election, there are fun, free events throughout the evening:

4-7 p.m.
Adult Coloring in the Museum Store

Try this relaxing trend, coloring for adults. Just show up, we will supply coloring sheets of works from our collection, or buy one of our creative coloring books at a discount, or bring your own books.

6 p.m.
Free guided tour of our print exhibition Hiroshige: Views of Japan, which closes this Sunday.

6:15 pm.
Independent curator Deborah Rabinsky will introduce visitors to Hues of Red and Blue. Some of the artists will be present. 

6:30-8 p.m.
Open Studio at Creativity Lab
This is the final opportunity to meet artist Anthony Viscardi at his open studio in the Creativity Lab at 515 Hamilton Street, free. Pick up at the Museum a ticket for reduced drink prices at grain after seeing the 3D mural Shadow Landings before it is installed in the Museum next month.

8:30-9:30 p.m.: Hues afterparty at Queen City BBQ, with crab puppies, smoke wings, and grilled vegs for Museum visitrs and gallery goers.
