Teacher Professional Development Opportunities

If you would like us to make a presentation on the benefits and logistics of planning an artist residency in your school, please contact us at (610) 432-4333, ext. 53. We are able to tailor presentations to meet your needs, from a full-day workshop to a 15-minute overview. Let us know what you need and we will come to you.

We are also able to make presentations to your district's administration, your principal, PTA/PTO, or any other interested parties.

The Allentown Art Museum also offers professional development workshops for teachers from a single school, a group of teachers from a district, or a cross-section of teachers from an Intermediate Unit. Instruction may cover a single collection area in depth or explore a theme or art-based concept across the Museum's collection. All workshops are eligible for professional development credits for Pennsylvania (Act 48).
