Bill Hudders

Bill graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design and the University of Pennsylvania (MFA in painting), where he studied with renowned Maine landscape artist Neil Welliver. In 1991 he moved to New York City, where he worked briefly for the artist Jeff Koons and showed his work at the Tatistcheff Gallery and the Hirschl and Adler Gallery. In 2016 he was awarded an Adolph Gottlieb Grant; in 2007 a Pollack-Krasner Grant; and in 2012 he was awarded a Franz and Virginia Bader Fund Grant to create a new series of paintings. His work is included in the collections of the Allentown Art Museum, Lehigh Valley Hospital, Citibank Collection in New York, and in the private collections of Mario Andretti and Tommy Hillfiger among many others.
