Loretta Tryon

Originally from Philadelphia, Loretta is a contemporary metalsmith and painter based in the Lehigh Valley. She received her BFA in metalsmithing and abstract drawing from Moore College of Art and Design while also studying ceramics, printmaking, and dance. After making jewelry for many years she found the forming techniques that would visually combine motion and gesture in metal. Working from her studio in Coopersburg since 1999, Loretta has exhibited in numerous gallery and retail shows, including in Milan, Italy, the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, the State Museum of Pennsylvania, and the Reading Public Museum. Her work was featured on the title page of 500 Silver Jewelry Designs by Sterling Publishing.
