Art Ways is always open during regular Museum hours, free with Museum admission.
Reflections
THROUGH may 3
Imagine a world without color. Now imagine a world full of rich, vibrant colors where shadows are filled with deep blue and purple, and sunlight sparkles with bold red and gold. Color can vary and beautify both nature and art, or create a sense of energy and motion. It can influence your mood and even make you feel cool or cozy. Join us for a vivid and enlightening experience in Art Ways!
Common Threads
MAY 17–AUGUST 9
Fiber artists create artworks simply with cloth, thread, yarn and other materials and their designs may be inspired by history, fads or function. The result may be something as elaborate as the evening dress of chiffon over silk trimmed with beads made for the movie “Titanic” or as basic as a knit shawl for warmth or a t-shirt for play. Come explore historical and cultural influences on fashion and try your hand at designing with the common threads and materials throughout time.
Art Ways is sponsored by Susquehanna Bank.
Family Time
FIRST SATURDAY OF EVERY MONTH, 1 PM AND 3 PM
