David Graham's photographs of American eccentrics and architectural oddities reflect his desire to record what is distinctive in the American landscape. He works in color using a large-format camera and looks for places that have not been "swept clean by corporate America." This picture from Rochester Minnesota shows a practice session of the Post-Bulletins, a youth football team sponsored by the city's newspaper. A local landmark (and remnant of 1950s corporate culture) looms in the background.
