Changes and Cancellations

All student program fees are payable, in full, by check, cash, or credit card upon arrival at the Museum. A receipt for your visit will be issued at that time.
If you are visiting the Museum through the Lehigh County M.O.R.E. for Children initiative, you must check in at the front desk upon arrival and sign your school's invoice.
If you do not sign, you will be invoiced for your visit.
If you do not know whether your school district or school is eligible for M.O.R.E. for Children funding, please visit http://more.lehighcounty.org/more.cfm. The

Don't be late!
Please arrive 15 minutes before your program start time. If delayed, call (610) 432-4333, ext. 10. If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, your program will be cancelled
and you will be charged in full for your program.
Each theme is designed for a class of approximately 25 students. We can accommodate more than one class at a time, depending on the theme requested. Ask our Reservations
Coordinator for details at (610) 432-4333, ext. 32.
Minimum Group Size
The minimum group size is 10 students. Groups smaller than 10 will be accommodated; however, you will be charged for a minimum of 10 students.
Supervisors to Students Ratio
Please ensure that there is a 1:5 supervisor to student ratio with all elementary groups. Middle school and high school groups require a 1:10 ratio.
Supervisors' Roles
The presence and assistance of teachers and adult supervisors is essential during school programs. Program leaders require your assistance in the following areas:
- monitoring students through the duration of the program,
- assisting in the distribution of materials for in-gallery activities and/or art projects,
- assisting with clean-up at the end of the activity and/or art project.
Your help ensures the program's success and the security of your students, and is greatly appreciated by the program leaders. Please make all supervisors aware of the
vital role they will play during the program.
The Allentown Art Museum is located at 31 North Fifth Street, Allentown, Pennsylvania. Bus parking details are available by request at the time of booking. Metered car
parking and pay lots are available in the vicinity. Meters have a two-hour time limit.
The Allentown Art Museum does not have lunch facilities: however, special arrangements can be made for groups if you are booking two programs. Please inquire when making
your reservation.
The Museum Store features a selection of unique gifts inspired by works in the permanent collection and special exhibitions. Students are welcome to visit the Museum
Store after their school program with adult supervision (ratio of 1 supervisor to 5 students at a time due to limited space). Please allow extra time for a visit to
the Store when planning your school visit.
Self-guided groups are welcome to visit the Allentown Art Museum for a fee of $2 - $3 per student. Please notify the Reservations Coordinator at least four weeks in
advance by calling (610) 432-4333, ext. 32 to insure that your preferred gallery is available and that your group can be comfortably accommodated. Self-guided visits
do not qualify under the M.O.R.E. for Children initiative.
Fees for each student program are indicated in the "Year at a Glance" sections of the school programs brochure. Remember, the minimum group size is 10 students.
Teacher workshop fees are indicated with the program description. Fees are subject to change without notice. All teachers and supervisors are free of charge up to the ratio
limit. Beyond the ratio limit, the student fee rate will apply.
