All About Art
Hands-on Art workshops for Teachers
Take an eye-opening journey during a one-day professional development workshop designed to introduce teachers to the world of art and the ways it can be used to awaken the imagination and enhance classroom learning. This workshop emphasizes artworks as a point of departure for classroom projects. Works of art can provide a foundation upon which your students can build skills in problem solving, critical thinking and communication while developing their own creative and expressive style. The program treats teachers as both learners and educators and is a great way to introduce student teachers to the museum. Workshop themes can be customized to support the interests of your group. General topics include:
-
Works of art and the PA Standards in the visual arts: making connections
-

-
