Opening day of fall exhibitions

Today is the official opening day of Power and Piety, Talisman, Molas, The Soviet Lens, and Sol LeWitt’s Wall Drawing #793A.

Admission to the Museum and all exhibitions is free every Sunday thanks to generous support from City Center Allentown, the Gadomski Foundation, and the Sylvia Perkin Perpetual Charitable Trust.

ArtVentures for families
Kids and families can create original works of art together under the direction of a Museum educator in our Crayola Classroom, freeThis month, take a look back in time to colonial Latin America in the exhibit Power and Piety: Spanish Colonial Art. The paintings, sculpture, silver pieces, and decorative objects can help us understand the daily life and religious practices of that era. Put your own spin on these decorative and devotional objects and create something unique.

Family workshop with Angel Suarez-Rosado
Join artist Angel Suarez-Rosado for a free tour of our special exhibitions followed by a family workshop where Angel will demonstrate some of the creative techniques he uses in his work.

Guided tour of Power and Piety—in English
