After Hours on Third Thursday

Explore the Museum after hours, only on Third Thursdays!
This Third Thursday, visit the Museum for free (after 4pm), learn about washi paper and create stitched washi collages inspired by Washi Transformed: New Expressions in Japanese Paper (5-7pm), and experience a new program, Couch Convos (6-7:30pm).

Couch Convos:
Each Third Thursday, we are bringing the popular Promise Neighborhood Couch Convos series to the Allentown Art Museum. Hosted by the Museum’s new community engagement coordinator, Saide Saddiq-Cissé, gather together for a shared experience rooted in reflection, wisdom, and the arts while raising voices.

The conversation for November will focused on purpose, and an individual’s personal quest to find their purpose—led by Dr. Hasshan Batts and Genamarie, with musical guest artist Quin Jaye and spoken word artist Corey Riotz.
