Learn about the history and practice of indigo dyeing in this hands-on art-making workshop related to the New American Galleries. With instruction provided by AAM staffer Claire McRee (shown in photo above), dye your own T-shirt or tea towel, or bring your own items from home to dye. This workshop is open to all ages and abilities on a first come, first served basis. The interactive workshop may get messy, so be sure to wear clothes that may come in contact with indigo. Free.
