May is Membership Month at the AAM! Thank you, members, for supporting all we do all year long. Join us this weekend for a mindful engagement with art in our galleries created especially for you. Not yet a member? CLICK HERE to become one now.

Saturday, May 14


11.30 a.m.-3.30 p.m.

Relax with a snack in our Member Lounge and enjoy the picturesque view of Arts Park.

noon & 2 p.m.: Laughter Yoga
Come laugh with us! Through yogic breathing (pranayama), laughter exercises, and mindfulness meditation, laughter yoga can help reduce stress, cultivate joy, spark creativity, foster positive thinking, and promote overall well-being. Participants will be seated in chairs or standing during each 40-minute session. All ages welcome.

1 p.m.: Mindfulness and Art Tour
Explore AAM art through guided mindfulness exercises. Slow looking helps us form a deeper connection with an artwork. Art that makes you move explores movement in art and allows us to feel more present in our bodies. Empathy with art helps build empathy skills by identifying the emotions being expressed in art.

Ask at the front desk for a self-guided mindfulness tour brochure and explore select AAM artworks and your response to them at your own pace.
