“My work is mainly figurative, most frequently depicting scenes from pictures I take of people around me as well as movie scenes. My paintings and imagery are not illuminating a specific narrative nor revealing behind-the-scenes details. My paintings distill the figures and sets into painted dreamlike visions that evoke ambiguous narratives–real or imagined. My paintings imbue a strong sense of mood and atmosphere.”
Abbey Rosko graduated from Moravian College in 2015. She resides in the Lehigh Valley and maintains her painting studio at 22 S 3rd St. in Easton, Pennsylvania.
