Studies show that just one visit to an art museum can reduce stress and anxiety, boost mood, and enhance mental acuity. For children the impact is even greater; art-museum visits make them five times less likely to drop out of school while improving performance in nearly every academic subject. Please help us ensure that the therapeutic power of art is accessible to everyone, for free.

If you would like to donate a work of art to the Allentown Art Museum, please send a photographic image of the work along with identification information, including the artist, title, date, medium, and dimensions of the work to curatorial@allentownartmuseum.org. Due to the large volume of gift offers we receive, it may be some time before we are able to reply. When offered a gift, we typically conduct research to determine if the work is a good fit for the Museum’s collection. This can be an involved process, sometimes taking months, and we appreciate your patience. Please note that we may not be able to reply to all gift offers.
