Celebrate Pride Month with us! A self-guided tour of works in the galleries by LGBTQ+ artists will be available at our Welcome Desk. You also can sign up below for a workshop with artist Daniel Djuro-Goiricelaya, running from 4 until 7 p.m., where you will create wearable works of art using recycled materials and fabrics. This workshop is inspired by Ballroom culture, a queer subculture founded by Black and Latino communities in New York City that created spaces for authentic self-expression, community, and protection for LGBTQ+ communities of color. Then at 7:15 p.m. everyone’s invited to enjoy a performance by Queer Quoir, led by singer and songwriter Khalid Taylor, and a runway fashion show presenting the garments created in the workshop.
