Holiday Tree-Lighting Ceremony

Celebrate the start of the season with us at the Allentown Art Museum during the City of Allentown’s annual Holiday Tree-Lighting Celebration. Enjoy our extended evening hours and take part in festive, family friendly activities, including free art making, a special holiday-themed gallery tour, and a one-of-a-kind shopping experience in our Museum Store. It’s the perfect way to kick off the holidays with creativity and cheer! Free admission (always!), and free parking in our Museum lot.

11 a.m.-6 p.m.: Today is opening day of the special exhibition Ellen Berkenblit: The Clouds are Luminous—see it for the first time!

3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.: Hot cider in the Museum Store, and art making for all ages with holiday music in our Crayola Classroom

4:00 p.m. Get in the holiday spirit with a winter-themed tour of the galleries

4:30 p.m.: Caroling by Queer Quoir in the Community Gallery

5 p.m.: The tree is lit in Arts Park
