Join AAM for a fun and enriching afternoon that explores the Taino art and culture. Inspired by the Puerto Rican paintings included in the exhibition Nostalgia for My Island, historian, artist, and indigenous leader Miguel Sagué will present a brief history of the Taino people and culture followed by art making on the Museum’s lawn. This event is open to all ages. Art making will be guided in both Spanish and English.
