Payne Hurd Gallery
This exhibition celebrated the winter season with hand-printed holiday cards made by fine artists. Spanning the 1920s to the 1970s, these works on paper were imbued with personal meaning and inscribed to friends. Twenty rarely seen pieces from the Museum’s collection and others on loan provided an intimate look into the lives of such artists as Blanche Lazzell, Stanley William Hayter, Dorothy Dehner, Tod Lindenmuth, and Sue Fuller.
Special thanks to Susan Teller Gallery, New York, and collector John Rossetti.
