Healing Through the Arts (HTTA) is thrilled to announce the 14th Annual Hope & Healing Juried Art Show, taking place in the AAM’s Community Gallery from February 15 through March 31, 2024. The works on display were created by high school and college students to promote healing and optimism. In turn, HTTA makes the artworks available free of charge to hospitals, doctors’ offices, clinics, and healing centers to uplift patients, families, and staff.
The exhibition showcases art from 11 high schools and 6 colleges, contributing a total of 144 individual art pieces. Visitors can vote via text for the artwork that inspires them the most.
This year, a record-breaking total of 34 awards were presented. Five students received judges’ awards and earned cash prizes ranging from $150 to $500. Community Awards, which are funded by individuals who wish to recognize student work, awarded 18 students with a $100 prize each. The Baum School of Art granted scholarships to 10 students.
The Viewer’s Choice Community Award will be bestowed at the end of the gallery show.
