Dear friends of the Allentown Art Museum:
I am writing to share with you the tremendous success we have had at the Museum since going admission free a little more than a year ago. Since permanently removing the financial barrier to Museum entry in August 2022, we have seen significant increases in attendance and program engagement, including:
- 55% increase in Museum attendance
- 114% increase in attendance for educational family programming on weekends
This would not be possible without your support of our Annual Fund drive. Your donation to the Fund supports everything that we do, including such programs as Field Trip Fridays, which provides in-person art experiences for homeschoolers and virtual learners, and Art Can, which helps adults living with Alzheimer’s and dementia and their caregivers. It also supports ArtVentures, our hands-on art making program for families that runs every weekend.
Your support of our Annual Fund campaign also enables us to continue to present world-class exhibitions to our community, including our newest shows celebrating Allentown-based artist Angela Fraleigh and two centuries of Puerto Rican paintings from the world-renowned Museo de Arte de Ponce, Puerto Rico.
Please consider making a gift to our Annual Fund drive today to ensure that our programs and exhibitions can continue to be a free and vital resource for all in our community. You can donate now by clicking HERE, or by calling 610-432-4333 ext. 154 to make your donation with a credit card over the phone. We have accomplished so much this past year, and your tax-deductible donation today will ensure that we can continue expanding our outreach and impact.
With gratitude,
Max Weintraub
