Bring the kids and teens to Art Ways Interactive Family Gallery on the second floor of the Museum to make your own art to take home during ArtVentures. Museum staff is on hand to help guide you in creating an artwork inspired by the Museum’s collection. Design your own creation and bring it to life. All ages and abilities welcome! Limited seating is available on a first come, first served basis.

This October, create your own assemblage inspired by Louise Nevelson by painting, constructing, and gluing objects into a work of art.
Dia de los Muertos (Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1)
Create a marigold flower crown to celebrate Día de los Muertos and learn about Mexican culture and tradition!

This November, create a still life artwork of your favorite food, inspired by Still Life with Fruit by Cornelis de Heem, using collage and drawing materials.
December
This December, create a multimedia work using thread to add depth, dimension, and pattern, inspired by contemporary artist Emil Lukas.
