Artist Workshop: Landscape of Home with Jacy Rodriguez

Join us for a special bilingual (English and Spanish) painting workshop led by artist Jacy Rodriguez. Inspired by the island of Puerto Rico, Rodriguez will guide participants of all ages in creating beautiful landscapes reminiscent of the mountains and rivers on view in the exhibition Nostalgia for My Island. You’ll learn practical techniques for painting the beauty of our natural world. Free, no registration necessary, but please be at the Museum at 12:30 p.m. Rodriguez will also lead a bilingual tour of the exhibition at 2 p.m. as paintings are drying.

Únase a nosotros para un taller especial de pintura bilingüe (inglés y español) dirigido por la artista Jacy Rodríguez. Inspirado en la isla de Puerto Rico, Rodríguez guiará a los participantes de todas las edades en la creación de hermosos paisajes que recuerdan a las montañas y ríos que se exhiben en la exposición Nostalgia por mi isla. Aprenderás técnicas prácticas para pintar la belleza de nuestro mundo natural. Gratis, no es necesario registrarse, pero por favor preséntese en el Museo a las 12:30 p.m. Rodríguez también dirigirá un programa bilingüe recorrido por la exposición a las 2 p.m. mientras las pinturas se secan.
