Max Weintraub, AAM President & CEO

I am pleased to share with you the astounding attendance numbers we have seen at the Allentown Art Museum since going admission free in August 2022. By permanently removing the financial barrier to entry, we have seen the following in attendance and engagement:

  • 60% increase in Museum attendance
  • 90% increase in attendance for our educational programming.

None of this would be possible without your support
. Thank you!

As we expand our programming to meet this inspiring embrace from our community, we have inaugurated several new offerings aimed at underserved audiences, including Sensory Saturdays for those in our community who might benefit from a low sensory experience in the galleries, and Field Trip Fridays, which provides in-person art experiences for homeschoolers and virtual learners, and recently relaunched Art Can, which offers art experiences for adults living with Alzheimer’s and dementia and their caregivers. It is these programs that I am particularly proud of, as they allow us to serve and connect with those who might not otherwise be able to experience art.

I am humbly asking you to please consider making a gift to our Annual Fund campaign to ensure that these programs and our world-class collection and exhibitions remain accessible to everyone.

Until June 30, you can double the impact of your dollars. Thanks to the generosity of Francie Bishop Good and David Horvitz, every dollar you donate will be matched up to $15,000. Any sized gift makes a big difference, and I am incredibly grateful for your support.

PLEASE DONATE NOW

We have accomplished so much this past year, and your tax-deductible donation today will ensure that we can continue to be a resource for all.

With gratitude,

Max Weintraub, President & CEO of the Allentown Art Museum
