The Allentown Art Museum is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to its Board of Trustees. Greg L. Butz, president and CEO of Alvin H. Butz Inc., and Thomas J. Scalici, CFP, CEBS, AIF, cofounder and CEO of Cornerstone Advisors Asset Management LLC and Cornerstone Institutional Investors, began a three-year term effective January 2019.

“We are excited to welcome Greg and Tom to the Museum Board at the start of a year that will see our organization reach new audiences and have an increased impact on our community,” said Michelle R. Stringer, the Chair of the Museum’s Board of Trustees. “Their leadership, business expertise, and proven commitment to community will contribute greatly to our success in meeting our goal of enriching people’s lives through art.”

The Board expansion is happening as the Museum enters its eighty-fifth year of service to the Lehigh Valley as a cultural and educational resource. The Museum was founded in 1934 by teacher, painter, and critic Walter Emerson Baum.

New Board members are elected on a rolling basis throughout the year on the recommendation of the Museum’s Governance and Nominating Committee.
