This panel brings together Vindya Raghavachari, Florencia San Martín, and Wendy Wilson-Fall to discuss the intricate relationship between color, culture, and art in Indian, Caribbean, and African traditions. This program offers a unique platform for participants and attendees to explore the multifaceted dimensions of color as it pertains to artistic expression, historical context, and cultural symbolism. Artist Workshop with Michael Freeman
Saturday, September 14 – noon-3 p.m.

Explore mindfulness and creativity in a painting workshop led by artist and mental health advocate Michael Freeman. Michael will lead a guided relaxation exercise and teach a flow painting technique to create colorful, abstract paintings. This workshop is free and for ages 12 +, all skills and abilities are welcome. Registration is required.
