Exploring the relationship between form and sound, sculptor Harry Bertoia spent more than a decade creating innovative works of art that are also musical instruments. This exhibition included a number of Bertoia’s sound sculptures that composer Doug Ovens played on November 4 and 5 at the Allentown Symphony Orchestra premiere of his work, Visible Music. This newly commissioned composition was featured in the exhibition as well.
The exhibition program at the Museum is supported through the generosity of the Harry C.
