It’s the start of a new school year, and the Allentown Art Museum is determined to continue encouraging all to express and nurture their creativity. Whether heading back to school online or in the classroom, we’re providing you with resources needed to cultivate a lasting appreciation for art.
#AAMatHome Art Activities
#AAMatHome was created in order to continue our efforts to keep you connected to the art by bringing the Allentown Art Museum in to your home. Learn about printmaking using methods inspired by our current exhibition, make your own masterpiece using techniques artists in our collection have used, see how art relates to your everyday surroundings with at-home treasure hunts, and much more.
Experience the Museum Online
Not only can you view educational videos about our current exhibitions and permanent collection, but you can also experience the events inspired by the art as well as hear from visiting artists.
Learn New Languages through Art
Arte en Español invites kids ages 3-5 years old to listen to a story read in Spanish by the Spanish Immersion Learning Center and then create art inspired by the story and a piece in our collection.
Visit the Museum After Hours
Learn more about recent art acquisitions, view our online art galleries, and explore even more art making. Get your arts fix 24/7 by reading through our blog.
