During this month’s Third Thursday, we celebrated print, color, and experimentation–highlighting Color and Complexity: 30 Years of Durham Press.

LIVE PROGRAM

Viewers got a look of the innovative and experimental printmaking at Durham Press, joined Vice President of Curatorial Affairs Elaine Mehalakes on a tour of Color and Complexity, learned how to mix cocktails with Boardroom Spirits mixologist, and tested their arts and culture knowledge during trivia.

This is a recording of the LIVE program which aired on August 20, 2020.

ONLINE COMMUNITY GALLERY

After viewing Color and Complexity, visitors are asked to reflect on their experience in the form of these response cards. Visitors select a card depicting a print from the exhibition and draw or write whatever they feel when viewing the art.

This gallery showcases some of the responses we have received. You can view Color and Complexity and create your own response cards in the now open Museum! Visit the exhibition, take a response card home to complete, then share on social media and tag #AAMColorAndComplexity.
